CRAZY WINTER FISHING!!! ALMOST State Record Pickerel, Broken Rod, & Chunky Bass
Winter fishing SUCCESS!
After getting skunked two days in a row, I broke the streak fishing a reservoir in New Jersey. The water was near freezing, and the fish were finicky, but we managed to coax a few into hitting our baits by matching the hatch and fishing painfully slow…

- Primary Pattern: Matching the hatch with swimbaits and dragging them along the bottom
- Time Fished: 7:30 am – 1:30 pm
- Air Temp: High of 38 degrees, low of 26 degrees
- Water Temp: 39 degrees
- Water Clarity: 48 inches
- Conditions: Mostly sunny with winds from the West up to 7 mph
