I was fishing from shore for walleye, northern pike, panfish, and more at a spillway in New York during winter (mid February, 2014).

I was using fathead minnows on 3-way slip sinker bait rigs each with a fluorocarbon leader going to a size 4 aberdeen hook and a breakaway mono leader going to a weight. I ended up catching a few walleye and a northern pike before leaving.
