On this camping trip I cooked fried egg breakfast sandwiches, lemon pepper trout with broccoli and rice, a wonderful cinnamon swirl cake, I roasted a whole chicken then fried another egg to test my pan seasoning’s no stick properties.

This was a fun camping trip to some familiar places where I know the fishing is good and the fall colors are magnificent!

I try to come here every fall. I also brought some new gear to test: A new fry pan kit that we’re calling the Ultra Cook Kit, It’s a high quality aluminum frypan and cowboy plate (pie pan) that are hard anodized which seals the aluminum behind a layer of ceramic aluminum oxide which is then seasoned like a cast iron pan to achieve a non stick finish. The advantages are that it can be used at higher temps without worries of a nonstick coating breaking down. It also transfers heat better which makes the oven configuration more efficient.
