CHUB FISHING IN WINTER

It’s a difficult time of year but chub fishing in winter always offers the chance of a bite or two.

We hit the river in freezing cold conditions, and thankfully we manage to land some nice Chub and Barbel. We started by moving around from swim to swim, fishing large smelly baits like cheese paste and meat.

I take you through the tackle and techniques to bag a few of these stunning fish. In my last video we failed to catch Dan that big perch I owe him (after he put me onto the Grayling).

However, we kick this video off with him landing an absolute tank of a Perch on the Ned Rig.
