A perfect summer day – fishing and hunting

After many months of drought, the area I live in received some much-needed rain in the peak of summer.

I took the opportunity to head to one of my favourite spots and see if any fish had survived in some of the holes. Naturally, I took my recurve bow as well.

In my opinion, walking around the bush with a fishing rod and a bow at the same time, is the height of the outdoor experience.

We are by no means out of the drought completely yet, but this rain has brought about a lot of relief to farmers and wildlife.
