Letort Springs Run (1st Time) – Nice Wild Brown Trout

First time fishing the world famous and historic Letort Springs Run yielded some nice Wild Brown Trout up to 12+ inches.

Christmas eve 2019 I decided to FINALLY attempt the notoriously difficult Fly-Fishing stream in South Central PA known as the Letort Springs Run. Fishing the mouth at the Condy below falls, I caught a nice 12+ inch really healthy looking Brown Trout.

Later on above the falls, caught another 8 or 9 inch Brownie. When I attempted to fish the middle stretch where it actually looks like a true ‘Spring Creek’, I got skunked. Overall, great mini fishing trip and I’ll definitely be back. Also, small diatribe for haters.
