How To Find BIG Fish On UNKNOWN Lakes This Spring || 50 State Fishing Tour (Mound City Lake KS)

We’ve been getting quite a few questions about which app we have been using out on all of these lakes so I thought I’d share that with you guys and a little more on how we are going about finding fish.

The Navionics boating app has a free trial and after 2 weeks it’s $15 or something close to that. They also have a free web app here which is identical to the web app to my knowledge -https://webapp.navionics.com/

I have no affiliation with Navionics, but I do think their app is extremely useful and it’s helped us out tremendously on this trip. We spent 2 days fishing Kansas, one afternoon on La Cygnes, and we fished Mound City the second day.

I am no pro, and I am still very much learning but the tips that I shared should at least give you a little direction in finding fish on new lakes in the spring.

Always keep in mind that every day is situational….even saying “every day” almost seems iffy. Every hour is situational. Hope you guys enjoyed this video, and I hope you’re going out this weekend to catch some giant pre spawners yourself.

Headed to Skiatook lake now – had to run from the rain in Lake of the Ozarks.
