Spring Kokanee | Fishing with Rod

In this video feature, we attempt to catch kokanee by bait fishing with either a float or a bottom rig. Kokanee is a family-friendly species because there are plenty of them and they are fairly easy to catch.

Kokanee are landlocked sockeye salmon that do not migrate into the ocean due to a geographical barrier so they are confined to a lake throughout the entire lifecycle.
